Relationships in the Work Place

There's many different relationships you can have in a work place. It doesn't necessarily mean to be in an actual relationship but means how you and the boss or co-workers connect with each other. You can be really good business partners or just close friends. It really depends on the type of work place. Some relationships can have the boss favoring a certain individual and having you be the runt of the job. For instance like if I were to show up late and the bosses favorite shows up late but the boss only writes me up that's unfair. Especially due to the fact I get the negative consequence and the other individual just walks like nothing happened. I do expect to learn a little bit from my supervisor for the fact he has a higher paying job and maybe one day I could be in his shoes in a similar position in a workplace. What I expect to contribute to my work place, well it depends on the job but I would work my butt off and offer more help if needed. You don't necessarily have to be friends with your co-workers because like in your classes your aren't always friends with everyone sometimes you're just acquaintances or a fellow classmate. 



My Future Career Interest

My future career interest are welding and mechanical engineering.  I am interested in theses careers because I like doing hands on work. I like to work with my hands a lot. In welding its all hands on unless you use the machines to cut stuff for you. In mechanical engineering you're always testing your products by hand with tools. There's lots of hand on in these types of career. The reason's I want to be a welder is one its fun and two welds are what make a bike good or not since the engineering field I want to go in is in the mountain bike industry. A weld can make or break a bike or anything that's involves welding and the combings two metals to make one. 

My Writing Challenges

Writing challenges. What makes writing a challenge at times? Why can writing be a challenge? Why do I have troubles writing at times? Do you have trouble writing at times cause I know I do? I especially have trouble writing when it comes to a subject I don't know about. What  I think what makes writing difficult is that if you don't write about a subject you don't know about or have interest in, than you're gonna have a hard time thinking of something to write about. I also think the style of writing can make it hard, such as making a basic essay about a car your like versus writing a persuasive essay on slavery. It would be hard due to the amount of hatred to slavery versus just stating your opinion about a car you like and why you think its the best.

Am I a Writer?

Am I a writer ? No. Do I plan to be one?  No. Am I a good writer? Depends on your definition of good and what the subject is. When it comes to writing essays and blogs off prompts I cant just go right into it. It takes me a while for me just to come up with something. Just like this blog post. I spent like 20 minutes in class just trying to think of how to start it and its not really that good to me but oh well. Like I said I am no writer.
