Relationships in the Work Place
There's many different relationships you can have in a work place. It doesn't necessarily mean to be in an actual relationship but means how you and the boss or co-workers connect with each other. You can be really good business partners or just close friends. It really depends on the type of work place. Some relationships can have the boss favoring a certain individual and having you be the runt of the job. For instance like if I were to show up late and the bosses favorite shows up late but the boss only writes me up that's unfair. Especially due to the fact I get the negative consequence and the other individual just walks like nothing happened. I do expect to learn a little bit from my supervisor for the fact he has a higher paying job and maybe one day I could be in his shoes in a similar position in a workplace. What I expect to contribute to my work place, well it depends on the job but I would work my butt off and offer more help if needed. You don't necessarily have to be friends with your co-workers because like in your classes your aren't always friends with everyone sometimes you're just acquaintances or a fellow classmate.
I agree with you Robert it depends on the work place. In my opinion i believe its better to have a really good relationship with one another.
