My Writing Challenges
Writing challenges. What makes writing a challenge at times? Why can writing be a challenge? Why do I have troubles writing at times? Do you have trouble writing at times cause I know I do? I especially have trouble writing when it comes to a subject I don't know about. What I think what makes writing difficult is that if you don't write about a subject you don't know about or have interest in, than you're gonna have a hard time thinking of something to write about. I also think the style of writing can make it hard, such as making a basic essay about a car your like versus writing a persuasive essay on slavery. It would be hard due to the amount of hatred to slavery versus just stating your opinion about a car you like and why you think its the best.
I understand you Robert, these subjects are not to fun or interesting to do honestly but oh well. I also noticed Ms. Quad did not comment on yours ha, well maybe next time.

ReplyDeleteRobert, I really like the way you opened your post with a series of questions. It made me think about many aspects and gave me a few prompts to select from as well. Certainly, having only 16-19 years of life experience does add to the dilemma of not being familiar with a subject to write about, hence the reason for compulsory education! Your generation is at such a superb advantage in that realm since you are surrounding with accessible knowledge with the internet at your fingertips! I love how there are resources such as YouTube for instructional videos on subjects from learning a tool in a software program to learning how to wire an electrical panel. I hope you will make it your personal quest on your continued life journey to soak up as much world, cultural, social, educational and whatever other type of knowledge you might be hungry for at the time. Life long learning adds to our own repertoire!
